Graduate funding is determined by the respective departments, not the university as a whole. 

Yale University Scholarships Eligibility

To qualify for the Yale University Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Required Language: English

Accepted English Proficiency Tests:

• TOEFL: Minimum score of 100 (internet-based), 600 (paper-based), or 250 (computer-based)
  
• IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 7.0
• Pearson Test of English (PTE): Minimum score of 70

Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide

Financial Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants may qualify for financial aid if they meet one or more of the following conditions:

• Enrolled in or eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program (FRPL)
  
• Received or eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver
  
• Enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that supports students from low-income families (e.g., TRIO programs such as Upward Bound)
  
• Are a ward of the state or an orphan
  
• Have a family income that falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service
  
• Live in federally subsidized housing, a foster home, or are homeless
  
• Your family receives public assistance
  

Able to provide a supporting statement from a school official, college access counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader

How to apply for Yali university scholarships. 

Follow the steps below to apply for the Yale University Scholarship:

1. Review the specific application requirements:
   • Two teacher recommendations
     
   • $80 application fee or a fee waiver
     
   • Standardized test results (SAT, ACT, or other accepted exams)
     
   • Counselor recommendation and school report (including transcript)
     
   • Mid-year report
   • Final report
